Fire on cruise ship in Groningen port

A fire raged on cruise ship AidaNova in Groningen's Eemshaven during the early hours of Wednesday morning. Multiple fire engines responded to the port. It is not clear whether anyone was hurt, NU.nl reports.

The fire started in the ship's cabin. Firefighters quickly got it under control and prevented the fire from spreading to the rest of the ship.

The cruise ship has been in Eemshaven since October 9th.
