Anti-Islam Wilders wants parliament to return from recess for terrorism debate
The PVV wants the Tweede Kamer to cut its summer recess short and return for a parliamentary debate on the terrorist attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils, PVV leader Geert Wilders said in a message to the other party leaders, which he also posted on Twitter.
"It is of great importance to discuss the consequences of this for the safety of Dutch society and citizens as soon as possible, and to finally take the necessary measures to prevent the Islamization of the Netherlands and to prevent Islamic terrorist attacks", Wilders wrote. He wants to debate this with Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister Stef Blok of Security and Justice.
In a separate tweet he lashed out at left-wing politics. "We are at war. Islam has declared war on us. And the left has been supporting our attackers. No more", he tweeted. Wilders also attacked Prime Minister Rutte, calling him a great coward who is "responsible for open borders and more Islam".

We are at war.
Islam has declared war on us. And the left has been supporting our attackers.
No more.
