Dutch model to marry Malaysian princess

Dennis Verbaas from Lisse is marrying Malaysian princess Tunku Aminah next month. The two met each other in a Malaysian cafe and clicked immediately, a spokesperson for the couple said, according to RTL Nieuws.

The wedding is scheduled for August 14th. Both Tunku Aminah and Dennis Verbaas asked for privacy, not only for themselves, but also for friends and family.

Tunku Aminah is the daughter of the Malaysian Sultan. Verbaas moved to southeast Asia in his early twenties to work as a photo model. He now works at the Tampines Rovers Football Club, a major football club in Singapore. He converted to Islam in 2015 and is called Dennis Muhammad Abdullah in Malaysia.
