Dozens of flats evacuated in Rosmalen fire
A fire in an apartment building in Rosmalen triggered the evacuation of 28 flats during the early hours of Tuesday morning. One resident was taken to hospital with unknown injuries, NU.nl reports.
The fire started around 1:15 a.m. in an apartment on the third floor of an apartment building on Herman Moerkerklaan, Brabants Daggblad reports. The fire department evacuated surrounding apartments as a precaution. Over 50 people had to leave their homes.
Paramedics checked a number of residents for smoke inhalation.
Around 3:00 a.m. a large number of apartments were released again. Some residents are still locked out of there homes.
The cause of the fire is unclear.
