Child injured in hit-and-run; driver sought
A child was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Schijndel on Thursday afternoon. The accident happened at around noon on Diebenbrockstraat. The police are looking for the driver, who was driving a small, blue-gray car.
The age of the victim was unknown. According to the Telegraaf, the child is not yet in primary school and may be as young as a toddler. The child's screams could be heard across the street. Emergency services gave first aid on the street and then rushed the child to a hospital in an ambulance with unknown injuries.
The description of the driver's car was spread on Burgernet. According to Burgernet Noord-Brabant, the car was found about an 90 minutes after the accident. There is no information yet as to whether the driver was also found.
