Suspects escape after attempted ATM bombing in Purmerend
A number of suspects escaped the police after attempting to bomb an ATM on John F. Kennedyplein in Purmerend on Monday morning.
Patrolling police officers noticed the suspects trying to bomb the ATM around 4:00 a.m. on Monday, NU reports. The suspects fled on scooters or motorcycles.
The police gave chase, but the suspects got away. The police deployed a helicopter to help find the suspects, but so far there has been no success. It is unclear how many people were involved or which way they fled.
