Knife held to NS conductor's throat
A NS conductor was attacked by a passenger yesterday afternoon in the train between Oisterwijk and Tilburg. The 49 year old passenger threatened the 46 year old conductor by pressing a knife against his throat.
The conductor was attacked by the passenger when he tried to check the passenger's ticket. A NS engineer alerted the police about the incident and told the officers in which compartment of the train the passenger was.
The man was arrested in the station on Spoorlaan in Tilburg as he got out of the train. The police found the knife in his breast pocket when they searched him.
The conductor was not injured in the incident.
