The plant closure will result in loss of nearly 215 jobs, Nos reported.
The company’s sales were 16% lower last year in central and northern Europe compared to 2007.
Falling demand and increasing competition have pushed the company to close its plant in Moerdijk.
Tetra Pak will begin talks on a social agreement with the unions and staff, the NRC reported.
