Creator ointment clinic elected 'Mooi Mens'
A nurse who set up an ointment clinic for children and a nursing assistant who created a 'garden experience' for people with dementia were awarded the 'Mooi Mens' award 2013 on Wednesday.The news was announced by health insurer IZZ, organizer of the annual 'Mooi Mens' election.
Nurse Ellen Sijbers from Son won the jury prize for her ointment clinic where young children with skin problems receive information and lubrication instructions in a treatment room, designed especially for children. Sijbers also made a film, coloring plates, and buttons for skin patients.

The garden is now widely used by residents and family, according to IZZ. Schuurman's initiative won the public prize.
