Dutch Troops to Join UN Force in Mali
The Dutch government announced that it will send 380 troops to join a United Nations peacekeeping force in Mali, Africa.
The Netherlands' troops include a unit consisting of four Apache combat helicopters to be deployed to gather information and protect Dutch personnel in Mali.

Also, the Dutch government will send a number of police officials and civilian experts, who will focus on police training, fostering the rule of law, and security sector reform.
The troops will remain with the mission until the end of 2015.
