Sharelly Emanuelson and three other Dutch citizens who were arrested in Murmansk, Russia for allegedly initiating a homosexual propaganda, have returned to the Netherlands.

Tom Thiel/flickr One of the four people arrested, GroenLinks party leader in Groningen, Mattias Gijsbertsen said they have arrived in the country and they are doing fine. However, he did not verify the reports about being banned in Russia for three years, after violating their visa requirements. The other people arrested in Russia were Kris van der Veen, town councilor for GroenLinks in Groningen and chairman of a foundation dedicated to the rights of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender community. The group was making a documentary and interviewing the public about sexuality in Russia.
